Yesterday we took a taxi from home to Central. We wanted to take Uber, however, there was no car nearby. We usually call for a designated taxi, but we were quite in a hurry, so there wasn’t much option for us to choose. Unfortunately, we encountered a racing taxi driver. He drove in high speed and zigzagged all the way. When we arrived our destination, I felt so dizzy and wanted to throw up. It cost us HKD161. Compare with other cheaper transportation, this doesn’t worth at all. At night, we fortunately could find a Uber. It was a completely different experience. It was UberX so the car was a bit small, but it is so clean and the driver chose to play some old English songs. The atmosphere was good. Traffic at night was quite smooth that we arrived home soon. It cost us about the same amount of money. When taxi drivers claiming Uber is illegal and complain them stealing their business, they never thought about the service they provided nor the need of their clients.
